I am blessed for the life I’ve had that has brought me here. I retired as a First Sergeant after 24 years in the US Air Force. I was directly responsible for the health, morale, welfare, and discipline of those under my charge. For some, it would be trite to say, “I like taking care of people!”, however, in my case, my training and background have led me in the direction of taking care of people. I’ve spent most of my professional life teaching and taking care of people. After my time in the Air Force, I pursued a career in transportation logistics, working as a logistics network designer, and later as a project manager for major transportation companies. I also drove a “big rig” as an over-the-road truck driver. I got into the insurance market as a broker in 2008. In 2011, I was called to wear the uniform again and pursue my passion for teaching and nurturing young people as an Air Force Junior ROTC instructor. Today, I find myself back in the insurance world, helping people take care of their families and businesses with a big need in their lives – security and comfort!
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy singing in my barbershop chorus and quartet. I love to play my accordion (some say I’m pretty good). I also have a love and passion for flying and pursuing my private pilot’s license (don’t have it yet, but I’m enjoying the journey).
